Education and Training

Dr. Koltz's distinguished journey began at Indiana University, where he earned his BS in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry, followed by his MD from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He further honed his expertise during his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he also completed his general surgery training. Dr. Koltz enhanced his skills with dedicated research and clinical fellowships, including a double fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery and Plastic Surgery Clinical and Basic Science Research at the University of Pennsylvania. This rigorous training has cemented his status as an American Board of Plastic Surgery board-certified plastic surgeon with advanced expertise in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
